Security deposits may be charged for your property but are a private matter between hosts and guests. Therefore, security deposits are currently not processed through Wimdu. We advise our hosts to request a security deposit from their guests as a means of protection against damage to the apartment.
Please note that the security deposit and the details of payment must be clearly stated in the ‘House Rules’ section of your property description. If you do not include the information here and demand a security deposit on arrival, your guests have the right to cancel the booking and receive a full refund.
