The most likely reasons why a host might refuse a booking request are:
- the calendar was not updated by the host and the accommodation is actually not available
- other listing details for the property were not updated by the host
If your booking request expired or was refused by the host, the booking amount frozen in the account of your chosen payment option will be automatically unfrozen. We recommend that you check with your bank or credit card provider regarding the release of the amount back into your account as, since the booking was not confirmed, there is no charge from Wimdu. However, we can provide a letter to give to the bank allowing them to release the money in order to speed this process up.
