How can I set a notice period between booking request and check-in?

The 'Pricing and Terms' section of your Wimdu user account has a very useful feature that allows you to set a minimum period between the date a guest requests a booking and the corresponding check-in date.

To set up this feature for your listing, scroll down to the section named 'Select the notice period between booking request and check-in':


Choose one of the options available:

  • Same day (unavailable until you have accepted more than one booking request)
  • 1 day
  • 2 days
  • 3 days
  • 7 days


For example, if you only want to receive booking requests where check-in occurs within 2 days, select '2 days' from the drop-down menu. As a result, guests will not be able to send a booking request where check-in on on the same day or the day after.

Click the 'Save' button.
